Labor Finders’ “Coffee, Tea or We” Calmly Claims a Bernays Award

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – The Gold Coast PR Council (GCPRC), South Florida’s largest independent association of public relations, communications and marketing professionals; announced this year’s Bernays Award Winners, honoring excellence in public relations campaigns, marketing programs and media coverage. Labor Finders International the largest privately owned temporary staffing company in the United States won the top prize for Best Marketing Materials (Print, Internal and External). Labor Finders competed against some of the most prestigious PR and Advertising Agencies from around the country along with numerous government agencies from the State of Florida. For the second year in a row, due to COVID-19 the awards were presented via Zoom.

The GCPRC judging committee recognized Labor Finders unique marketing endeavor, the 2020 Targeted Account Campaign (TAC) Program titled “Coffee, Tea or We”. The primary goal of the TAC Program was designed to develop new business by targeting 20 prospective accounts per branch office over a period of six weeks that have a high likelihood of using our staffing services; yet may represent a challenge due to a stonewalled gatekeeper (receptionist), a hard to-reach decision-maker (management), a tight relationship with a competitor or due to COVID-19. Every week, for six weeks, staff members from local Labor Finders offices delivered beverages, such as chamomile tea to soothe the nerves of employees at local businesses that were struggling with the effects of the pandemic.

The Bernays Awards named for Edward Louis Bernays the American pioneer in the field of public relations; often referred to as the father of public relations. Since 2004, the Gold Coast PR Council continues to honor the excellence in PR and Marketing campaigns by recognizing South Florida’s Premier PR superstars and media campaigns with this most esteemed award.
