Labor Finders has multiple openings for Tile Installers for long-term work on multiple sites in and around the Gainesville area. We are in search of candidates with experience in laying and finishing tile surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops. Ideal candidates will have skills in measuring, cutting, and installing various types of tile such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, and stone with precision and quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
· Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, following layout plans and blueprints
· Cut tiles to size and shape using hand and power tools such as tile cutters and wet saws
· Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate setting materials
· Mix and apply thin set, grout, and other adhesives as needed for installation
· Set tiles neatly and evenly, maintaining consistent spacing and alignment
· Apply grout and sealants for a clean, finished look
· Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and durability
· Work as part of a team, assist

Start times vary between 5am and 7am; shifts are typically 8 hours, with some lasting up to 10 hours. Jobsites may vary by location day to day but will be located in and around Gainesville.
Work location may be indoors or outdoors, often in new construction or renovation environments. Transportation is required to and from the sites, as well as good communication with the office for daily job assignments. Work is short term to start, with ongoing opportunities for those with consistent attendance and excellent performance. Pay is based on experience, job performance, and attendance.

· Minimum 1 year experience in tile installation or related trade required
· Ability to read blueprints, layout plans, and accurately measure and cut materials
· Experience working with ceramic, porcelain, marble, or stone tiles
· Knowledge and safe operation of tile saws, trowels, grout floats, and other tools
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
· Dependable attendance and punctuality
· Willingness to learn, take direction, and assist in all aspects of installation
