We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Concrete Finisher with experience working on projects requiring ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing, smoothing, and repairing concrete surfaces while ensuring ramps, walkways, curbs, landings, and transitions meet ADA slope, texture, and accessibility standards. This position offers flexible, part-time scheduling based on project needs.
Your Day
Perform all aspects of concrete finishing, including pouring, screeding, floating, troweling, edging, broom finishing, and patching.
Build and finish ADA-compliant ramps, sidewalks, landings, curb cuts, and pathways.
Ensure correct slope, grade, cross slope, and texture to meet ADA standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, forms, and ADA specifications.
Form and prepare areas for concrete placement - layout, excavation, compaction, and forming.
Install rebar, chairs, wire mesh, and other reinforcement.
Operate finishing tools such as bull floats, screeds, trowels, and grinders.
Repair or replace concrete to restore ADA compliance when required.
Work with supervisors and inspectors to ensure all work meets building codes and ADA regulations.
Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols at all times.

Your Experience
Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in commercial, municipal, or residential work.
Experience constructing ADA-compliant ramps, sidewalks, and accessibility features.
Ability to accurately measure elevations, slopes, and grade using levels or laser equipment.
Skilled in concrete mixing, pouring, curing, and finishing techniques.
Ability to lift 50 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required.
