Labor Finders has multiple openings for Marine Concrete Finishers working on marine and waterfront construction sites in Jacksonville. You’ll place, finish, and repair structural concrete on surfaces such as bridge decks, pilings, and seawalls. The job requires experience with form setting, applying sealers or coatings, and using core drills and related tools-like diamond core bits, masonry saws, vibrators, power trowels, and tremie pipes-for accurate cutting, finishing, and underwater placements.
Your Day
Start times fall between 5 AM and 7 AM; shifts last from 8 to 10 hours on average. You’ll work in outdoor or partially submerged environments-bridges, piers, or seawalls-under PPE and Florida’s weather extremes. Tasks include cleaning, prepping, drilling, drilling core samples, and finishing concrete surfaces. Reliable transportation and on-site coordination with crews is essential. Pay reflects experience, reliability, and quality of work.
Your Experience
At least 6+ months of experience in marine construction and concrete is required, with marine or bridge/structural concrete work strongly preferred. Candidates must be physically fit, comfortable working around water, and capable of using hand and power tools for concrete placement and finishing.
