The Maintenance Technician III performs preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and repairs of all manufacturing and building-related equipment in the food manufacturing industry. Effectively troubleshoot complex electrical and control problems. Be able to detect minor problems and correct them. Provide troubleshooting assistance to the machine operators, prioritize multiple demands, and make independent decisions based on critical production demands. Provide guidance and mentoring to Maintenance Technicians I & II

Your Experience
Knowledge/Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor/sortation systems and related equipment, in a fast-paced environment.
• Mastery of PLC and sortation control systems.
• Possess strong prioritization skills and be able to make decisions independently.
• Possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to oversee the timely completion of multiple daily tasks.
• Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and systems.
• Good working knowledge of building codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently or in a team environment.
• Computer and technology literacy.
• Basic fabrication skills.
• Basic welding skills.
