Labor Finders is looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated HVAC Technician Instructor to train and mentor students in a hands-on technical education setting. This role is perfect for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys teaching others and helping them prepare for successful careers in the trade.
Your Day
Job Responsibilities:
· Teach HVAC fundamentals including safety, electrical, refrigeration, heating, ductwork, and green technology.
· Provide hands-on training in installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
· Guide students through preparation for certifications such as EPA 608 and NATE.
· Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records.
· Ensure safety procedures and classroom standards are followed.
· Stay current with industry updates and energy-efficient practices
Your Gain
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications a plus.
· Minimum 3 years of HVAC industry experience (installation, service, or related).
· Current EPA 608 certification required.
· Strong communication and teaching skills; ability to engage diverse learners.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
· EPA 410A, BPI, Green Awareness, LEED, or NATE certification.
· A2L certification (or willingness to complete within 6 months).
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions (bending, kneeling, standing, etc.).
· May occasionally need to travel for training or school-related activities.
