Labor Finders has openings for Heavy Equipment Operators for work on sites in and around the Savannah area. We are in search of candidates with experience working with any of the following skills: operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and cranes; performing pre-operational checks on equipment; digging, leveling, and grading land for construction sites; lifting and moving materials; following safety protocols and maintaining equipment; working in collaboration with team members to ensure smooth operations; and performing other equipment operation tasks as assigned.
Your Day
Start times vary between 6am and 8am; shifts are typically 8 hours, some lasting as long as 10 hours. Sites are often construction sites, requiring full PPE. Jobsites may vary by specific location day to day but will be in and around Savannah. Some may be indoors, but candidates should be prepared to work in all weather conditions and elements, including extreme Georgia heat. Transportation is required to and from the sites. Work is short term to start, ongoing for those with consistent attendance and outstanding performance. Pay is based on experience, job, attendance, and performance feedback.
Your Experience
Minimum 6+ months experience for construction experience, minimum 3+ months experience for all other industries.
