Labor Finders has openings for Equipment Painters for work in Claxton. We’re seeking candidates with experience painting automobiles, heavy equipment, machinery, or agricultural/industrial vehicles. Responsibilities include: preparing metal and fiberglass surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming; mixing and matching paints to specifications; applying primers, base coats, and finishes using spray guns or electrostatic equipment; inspecting painted surfaces for uniformity and defects; cleaning and maintaining paint booths, tools, and equipment; following all safety and environmental standards; and performing other related tasks as assigned.
Your Day
Start times typically range between 6am and 8am, with shifts averaging 8 10 hours depending on production schedules. Candidates should be comfortable working in areas with paint fumes, heat, and noise, and must wear proper PPE, including respirators, gloves, and eye protection. Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required, as well as consistent communication with the office for daily assignments. Work is short term to start, with the opportunity for ongoing or long-term placement based on attendance, safety, and performance. Pay depends on experience, job, and client feedback.
Your Experience
Minimum 6+ months of experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment painting required. Experience with spray guns, airless systems, or electrostatic painting is a plus.
