Labor Finders has multiple openings for Demolition Laborers for long-term work on active construction and renovation sites in and around TALLAHASSEE.
We are in search of candidates with experience performing tasks such as:
Manual demolition of walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures using hand and power tools
Loading and removing debris, materials, and scrap from job sites
Operating tools such as sledgehammers, crowbars, saws, and jackhammers
Assisting skilled trades with tear-outs and site preparation
Following safety procedures for confined spaces, structural demo, and hazardous material handling
Cleaning and clearing work zones and completing tasks as directed by site supervisors
Your Day
Start times vary between 5AM and 7AM, with typical shifts lasting 8 to 10 hours depending on project needs.
Most work is outdoor, in active construction or renovation zones, requiring full PPE including hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, safety vest, and eye protection.
Candidates should be prepared to work in all weather conditions, including extreme Florida heat and environments with dust, debris, and loud noise.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required, and workers must stay in communication with the office for daily assignments.
Jobs start as short-term, but are ongoing for those who show up consistently, work hard, and follow safety protocols.
Pay is based on experience, jobsite, attendance, and performance feedback.
Your Experience
Minimum 6+ months experience in demolition, construction labor, or related trades
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, work on feet all day, and follow instructions closely
OSHA 10 preferred but not required
