Your Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 55-Ton Rough Terrain Crane Operator to safely and efficiently operate a rough terrain crane for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials at construction and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of crane operations, safety regulations, and load handling procedures.
Your Day
• Operate a 55-ton rough terrain crane to lift, move, and position materials safely and accurately.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic repairs on the crane to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and safety checks in compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
• Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and work instructions to determine proper lifting techniques.
• Work closely with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors to coordinate lifting operations.
• Monitor weather and site conditions to ensure safe crane operation.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper rigging and load securement.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections.
• Adhere to all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with other duties as assigned when the crane is not in operation.
Your Experience
• Valid NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating rough terrain cranes, preferably 55-ton models.
• Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging principles, and crane safety regulations.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

• AM/NS Calvert Vehicle Clearance
