Job Duties
An apprentice electrician assists licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, gaining hands-on experience through on-the-job training. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing work areas, running and connecting wires, and learning to safely use tools and test equipment under supervision. Apprentices must also follow all safety codes and work toward becoming a licensed electrician.
