Your Job

Labor Finders has an opening for RV Service Technicians for long-term work in and around the Jacksonville area. We are seeking experienced candidates who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of RV systems. This role combines automotive, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry skills. Responsibilities may include performing preventative maintenance and repairs on engines, generators, electrical systems, plumbing systems, water heaters, appliances, slide-outs, awnings, roofing, flooring, cabinetry, and interior fixtures. Candidates may also troubleshoot 12V and 120V electrical systems, repair HVAC units, perform leak detection and water damage repairs, and complete carpentry-related restoration work. This position requires strong diagnostic abilities and the flexibility to work across multiple trades. RV techs are often expected to handle everything from mechanical repairs to interior finish work.

Your Day

Start times typically range between 7am and 8am, with shifts averaging 8 hours and occasional overtime depending on workload. Work is primarily performed in a service facility, though some repairs may require working outdoors. Every day presents a different challenge, from diagnosing electrical issues and repairing HVAC systems to replacing damaged cabinetry or troubleshooting plumbing leaks. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, communicating with customers and supervisors, and managing multiple repair tasks while maintaining quality standards. Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and a professional attitude are required.

Your Experience

Candidates should have previous experience as an RV Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Marine Technician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar repair and maintenance role. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are required. Experience working on gas and diesel engines is highly preferred, along with knowledge of RV electrical systems, including both 12V DC and 120V AC systems. Candidates should also have experience with HVAC troubleshooting and repair, plumbing systems, water heaters, appliances, carpentry, cabinetry, flooring, and general interior repairs. Experience with roofing, leak detection, water damage repairs, and the use of diagnostic equipment, multimeters, hand tools, and power tools is beneficial. Candidates must be able to work independently, solve problems efficiently, lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces when necessary, and maintain a safe work environment while completing quality repairs.
