Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to bolster our team in Benicia, CA. Responsibilities will include onboarding, payroll, basic office functions, etc.
Your Day
Key Responsibilities
• Recruiting Onboarding: Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, posting job openings, and preparing new hire orientation packets.
• Employee Records: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system and physical files.
• Payroll Benefits: Support the HR team by processing timesheets, managing attendance records, and assisting employees with basic benefits inquiries.
• Employee Engagement: Assist with employee recognition events, facility communications, and safety training initiatives.
• Front Office Support: Act as the first point of contact for employees, answering HR-related questions and directing walk-ins to the appropriate team member.
Your Experience
Qualifications
• Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish highly preferred (written and verbal).
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in human resources, office administration, or customer service/clerical role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general PC operation.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive and remain professional in a fast-paced environment with busy phone lines.
