We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Marine Service Technician to join our busy team! If you have a passion for all things nautical and a knack for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.

Your Day

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours. Flexibility Required: Must be available for occasional weekends and nights to handle emergency service calls or meet critical deadlines, especially during peak season. Physical Demands: This role requires standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and working in varied environmental conditions (boatyards, marinas, docks).

Your Gain

Diagnosing and Repairing a wide range of marine engines (inboard, outboard, and stern-drive) and related propulsion systems. Performing routine Maintenance and Tune-ups on various boat systems, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and general inspections. Troubleshooting and repairing Electrical Systems, including wiring, navigation equipment, charging systems, and accessory installation. Conducting System Installations and Upgrades, such as installing new electronics, rigging, plumbing, and mechanical components. Performing Hull and Fiberglass Repairs as needed (experience a plus, but not required). Completing Detailed Documentation of all service and repair work performed. Adhering to all Safety Procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Your Experience

Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a Marine Technician or in a related field (automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial mechanics). Strong knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engine theory and repair. Proficiency in marine electrical systems and troubleshooting with diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals. Certifications from major marine engine manufacturers (e.g., Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo Penta) are highly desirable. Must possess a valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
