Labor Finders is hiring Maintenance Workers for work at secure and professional job sites in and around the Jacksonville area. We are seeking dependable individuals who can handle general maintenance tasks including basic repairs, troubleshooting, and upkeep of facilities. Duties may include light plumbing, minor electrical work, painting, replacing fixtures, general building maintenance, and assisting with repairs as needed. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or with a team.
Your Day
Start times typically range between 6am and 7am, with shifts averaging 8 hours and occasional longer days depending on project needs. Jobsites will vary day to day but will be located in and around the Jacksonville area. Work may be indoors or outdoors depending on the assignment. Reliable transportation and consistent communication with the office are required. This role requires passing a Level 2 background check due to job site requirements. Work may start short term, with long-term opportunities available for dependable, high-performing workers.
Your Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general repairs is preferred. The ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively is required. Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and attention to detail are essential. Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check to be considered for this position.
