We are hiring a Crane Operator (Carry Deck & Rough Terrain) for a project in Bay Minette, AL at the Novelis facility. This role requires operating a 20-ton carry deck crane and/or a 100 150 ton rough terrain crane in a fast-paced industrial environment. We are seeking dependable operators who can perform safely and efficiently in a construction setting.
Your Day
Your day will include safely operating carry deck and rough terrain cranes to lift, move, and position materials. You will perform daily equipment inspections, ensure proper maintenance, follow all site safety regulations, and communicate with riggers, signal persons, and supervisors. You will also handle loads according to lift plans and job specifications. Shifts are typically 10 12 hours per day, 5 6 days per week, with overtime expected.

Your Experience
Proven experience operating 20-ton carry deck and/or 100 150 ton rough terrain cranes
NCCCO certification (or equivalent) preferred
Strong understanding of crane safety procedures and load charts
Ability to work in an industrial or construction environment
Must have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
Must use required PPE
