Rising in Phoenix, The Labor Finders 2022 Employee of the Year!

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL—When attempting to define words such as normal and average, the process is overly complex. In fact, the complexity is that there is an actual science behind the definition of those words. So, when the judging committee for the Labor Finders / LF Staffing 12th Annual Employee of the Year were reviewing the nominees, one person stood out from all the rest and that person, Jesse Zapien is far from average.

“Since its inception twelve years ago, the entries we received have proven that our temporary associates are the best in the staffing industry! This award is a wonderful way for us to recognize the very best of the best! These days, we may have a few less associates, but many have loyally braved the on-going issues of COVID and not feeling motivated to work and these people are deserving of recognition more than ever!” stated Dan Shube, Chief Marketing Officer for Labor Finders International.

The Labor Finders judging committee were all in agreement that Jesse Zapien was the most deserving to win this years’ coveted award; all due to his true grit and determination which he possesses.

Being a single parent is far from easy, but Jesse Zapien is not your average guy. He is a very resolute and hardworking associate who has always managed to push through many of life's struggles. With his on-going perseverance, Jesse continued to impress the Tempe, Arizona Labor Finders office by balancing his productivity at work and caring for his young daughter who has her own challenges.

Jesse recently went through a difficult divorce resulting in a long custody battle. At one point due to the on-going financial struggles because of the custody battle, he lost his vehicle and was forced to use public transportation. Even when faced with all this adversity, Jesse never let that stop him. Always on time for work despite having to take a long journey by bus and then bicycle the rest of the way every morning, rain, or shine.

Cynthia Sabel, the assistant branch manager of the Labor Finders Tempe office, (who nominated Jesse) first dispatched him to help with cleaning up at a metal fabrication shop. “He quickly became a highly regarded employee by our customer Paul Olguin, due in part to his excellent work ethic and open communication. Jesse and Paul have always kept our office staff up to date with any schedule changes or time off requests. Paul has stated that Jesse has been a pleasure to train and is a great asset to their company. So much so, that Paul has used Jesse as an example to his own employees of how they need to improve their attendance and productivity.

“Paul has rewarded Jesse by teaching him about fabrication and welding so that he can have a more stable career. Since his time working with Paul, we have seen how Jesse has increased his skills and value as an employee. Which is why it was no surprise that Paul has decided to hire Jesse on as a full-time permanent employee,” stated Cynthia.

Jesse's drive to succeed has paid off. Labor Finders is extremely proud of Jesse, and we are happy to see him continue his journey as a metal fabricator. Even though Jesse has crossed the bridge to permanent employee, he has stated that he would like to continue working with Labor Finders, picking up some weekend work here and there, which the office is beyond thrilled to do.

As the Labor Finders / LF Staffing 12th Annual Employee of the Year winner Jesse Zapien will receive a check for $1,500.00 along with a commemorative plaque. The Tempe office will also receive a plaque to display for all other employees to see. Jesse will receive recognition on Labor Finders’ Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter pages.
