As a Water Well Driller, you’ll take the lead in operating drilling equipment, ensuring the safety and productivity of your crew, and performing all essential tasks involved in the construction and decommissioning of water wells. This role is hands-on, physical, and perfect for someone who takes pride in quality work and staying busy.
Your Day
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Monitor drilling progress and adjust processes as neededCommunicate professionally with project managers and customersAdhere to OSHA and all federal/state drilling regulationsCollect, label, and store samplesOversee safety and productivity of the drilling crewOperating drilling rigs and heavy machinerySafely transporting equipment and materials to and from job sitesSetting up rigs and completing drilling and installation tasksMaintaining equipment, tools, and work areasPerform daily inspections, maintenance, fueling, and greasingInstall well heads, casings, screens, grout, gravel packs, and plug wellsDocument geological formations encountered on-siteEnsure all materials needed for each project are prepared and availableSafely store and secure all heavy equipmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsFull range of motion including bending, crouching, lifting, and reachingMust frequently lift 50 100 lbs.Ability to cl
