We’re hiring a Wastewater Technician Helper to assist with on-site septic and wastewater services in the Tallahassee area. You’ll be riding along with a lead technician or driver, helping with things like handling hoses, digging to locate septic tanks, cleaning up spills, and assisting with pump-outs and inspections. This is physical, outdoor work-perfect for someone who’s not afraid to get dirty and wants steady hours.
Your Day
Most shifts start early, between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, and run 8 to 10 hours depending on the route and workload. You’ll be out in the field, moving equipment, helping prep job sites, and working in all kinds of weather. This is a great entry-level opportunity if you’re dependable and ready to work. Just make sure you have reliable transportation to and from the main yard, and check in regularly with the office.
Your Experience
No special license required-just bring at least 6 months of outdoor labor, construction, or fieldwork experience. If you’ve ever worked with a pump truck crew or done general site cleanup, even better. You should be comfortable with physical labor, basic hand tools, and following safety procedures on active job sites.
