Your Day
Perform a variety of tests including:• Composition analysis: Identifying the elements or chemical compounds in a sample. This can be qualitative (identifying what is present) or quantitative (determining how much is present).• Contamination analysis: Detecting and identifying unwanted substances in a product or material.• Quality control (QC) testing: Verifying that a product or material consistently meets established standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process.• Trace analysis: Detecting and quantifying chemical substances present in extremely small amounts.• Material testing: Assessing the chemical and physical properties of materials like metals, polymers, and ceramics.• Classical or wet chemistry: Traditional lab techniques like titration, gravimetric analysis, and colorimetric analysis.
Your Gain
Receive training and experience in over 100 chemical tests, focusing mostly on failure rates of synthetic and natural oils used in industrial settings, hydrolic fluids, lubricants, coolants, etc.
Your Experience
1 Year in a professional setting or the equivalent in college courses.
