Labor Finders has multiple openings for HVAC Helpers for long-term work on multiple sites in and around Tallahassee, FL. We are seeking candidates with at least one (1) year of HVAC helper experience supporting licensed HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Duties include carrying and organizing tools and materials, assisting with ductwork, vents, and HVAC unit installation, cleaning and maintaining HVAC equipment, checking and replacing filters and basic components, maintaining safe and organized work areas, and performing other HVAC support tasks as assigned. EPA and CPO certifications are required.
Your Day
Start times vary between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, with typical shifts lasting 8 hours, and some extending up to 10 hours. Work is performed on active construction sites and requires full PPE. Job sites may vary day to day but will remain in and around the Tallahassee area. Some work may be indoors; however, candidates must be prepared to work in all weather conditions, including extreme Florida heat. Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required, along with consistent communication with the Labor Finders office regarding job assignments. Positions may begin as short-term, with ongoing opportunities available for those who demonstrate dependable attendance, strong performance, and a strong work ethic. Pay is based on experience, job assignment, attendance, and performance feedback.
