We’re looking for experienced Excavator Operators who know how to make dirt move. If you’re the kind of person who can dig with precision, handle trenching like a pro, and knows how to keep a site moving without tearing it up - we want you. Our clients are working on long-term commercial, residential, and civil projects in and around TALLAHASSEE. This role requires familiarity with tracked and wheeled excavators, and the ability to read the terrain as well as the plans. If you can prep a site, dig to spec, and backfill like a boss - let’s talk.
Your Day
Expect to start early (5AM 7AM) with 8 10 hour shifts. You’ll be on active jobsites where full PPE is required, so bring your hard hat and your hustle. Most work is outdoors - rain, heat, or shine - and you’ll need reliable transportation to get to the site. Locations vary but stay within an hour of TALLAHASSEE. You’ll get your assignments straight from our office, so keep your phone handy and your availability tight. Strong performers will get consistent work and first dibs on better jobs.
Your Experience
We’re looking for operators with at least 6+ months of hands-on excavator experience, especially in construction environments. You should be confident operating heavy machinery, reading trench layouts or blueprints, and knowing your way around utilities underground. A good attitude and solid attendance record go a long way here - we’re not just hiring a machine, we’re hiring a professional.
