Your Day
brpstrongEquipment Teardown Mechanic responsibilities may include the following: /strongulliSorting, organizing, and lifting heavy equipment parts.liPreparing and shipping mechanical parts from various pieces of heavy equipmentliRemoval of parts from existing equipment.liWorking outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather.liOperating heavy equipment like forklifts.liLifting heavy parts, tools and materials on a regular basis. liReading and understanding maintenance manuals./ulbrstrongYou will need to have the following: /strongbrulliProven experience as a mechanic.liProven experience operating heavy construction equipment.liAn up-to-date forklift certification or the ability to get one in a timely mannerliAbility to supply your own tools within 1 month of hire. (if required)liAbility to speak or understand English.liGood physical condition and endurance.liAbility to stand and walk, lift and/or move up to 70 to over 150 lb
