Your Day
brpstrongDiesel Mechanic responsibilities may include the following:/strongbrulliConsulting with customers and reading orders to determine work required.liPlanning work procedures using technical charts and manuals.liInspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.liFollowing checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.liReading interpreting diagnostic test results to identify mechanical problems.liRepairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment.liPerforming basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.liTest-driving vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly.liKeeping logs of work and report on issuesliLifting heavy parts, tools and materials on a regular basis. /ulbrstrongYou will need to have the following:/strongbrulliProven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
