Your Day
Start times are typically early - between 6:00 and 7:00 AM. You’ll report to active construction or demolition sites throughout TALLAHASSEE and nearby areas with your own reliable transportation. Your daily tasks include operating hand tools (sledgehammers, pry bars, sawzalls), removing debris, loading dumpsters, and following the lead of supervisors to safely knock down and clear structures.You must be ready to work outdoors in all kinds of Florida weather, carry heavy loads, and maintain focus on safety for yourself and your crew.
Your Experience
6+ months of demolition, construction labor, or related experience Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and efficiently Physically fit - able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet all day Able to follow directions and work as part of a team Reliable transportation required - job sites vary dailyBonus Points If You:Have experience with selective demolition or hazardous material awarenessCan operate basic equipment like skid steers or mini-excavators (not required)Hold OSHA 10 or similar safety training certifications
