As a School Cleaning Technician, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for students and staff. Your responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas within the school. Attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism are important in this role. Because this position is within an active school environment, applicants must be able to pass a background check and be approved to work around children.
Your Day
Your typical day will involve cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, wiping desks and surfaces, emptying trash bins, vacuuming or mopping floors, and maintaining restroom cleanliness. You will follow a checklist to ensure each area of the school meets cleanliness and sanitation standards. Work may take place after school hours to avoid disrupting students and staff.
