Your Day
brpstrongResponsibilities may include the following:/strongbrulliFlagging motorists to warn of obstacles or repair work ahead.liSetting up signs and cones around work areas to divert traffic.liDriving trucks or tractors with adjustable attachments to sweep debris from paved surfaces, mowing grass and weeds, and removing snow and ice. liDumping and spreading asphalt to repair joints and patch broken pavement.liDriving trucks to transport crews and equipment to work sites.liInspecting, cleaning and repairing drainage systems, bridges, tunnels, and other structures.liHauling and spreading sand, gravel, and clay to fill washouts and repair road shoulders.liErecting, installing, or repairing guardrails, road shoulders, berms, highway markers, warning signals, and highway lighting, using hand tools and power tools.liRemoving litter and debris from roadways, including debris from rock and mud slides.liCleaning and clearing debris from culverts, catch basins
