We’re hiring Asbestos and Mold Remediation Technicians to join specialty teams handling cleanup jobs tied to environmental damage, fire, flooding, and facility restoration.You’ll be working in high-risk environments where safety is the top priority. This role involves more than demolition - it’s about containment, precision, proper PPE, and doing things by the book. Your Day
Your schedule may vary based on the project, but expect early start times (6:00 7:00 AM), especially for live-building or emergency cleanup jobs. You'll suit up in full PPE - Tyvek suits, half- or full-face respirators, gloves, boots - and follow strict decontamination procedures on entry and exit. Work includes sealing off affected areas, negative air setup, HEPA vacuuming, treating mold growth, removing asbestos materials (floor tile, insulation, etc.), and properly bagging and disposing of hazardous materials.Some jobs are residential - others are commercial, schools, hospitals, or municipal buildings. You’ll be working in enclosed spaces, using ladders, and sometimes crawling through tight spots. The crews are tight-knit, the work is demanding, and attention to detail is everything.
Your Experience
Minimum 6+ months of experience in remediation, environmental cleanup, or demo work Must be comfortable in confined spaces, full PPE, and physically demanding environments Must have reliable transportation - jobsites vary and may be in surrounding counties Clear understanding of health & safety procedures, including exposure protocolsCertification RequirementsAsbestos Abatement Certification (State of Florida) ORMold Remediation Certification (or willingness to obtain)OSHA 10 or 30 preferredHAZWOPER training a plusBonus Points If You:Have experience using moisture meters, air scrubbers, or negative pressure systemsHave worked for disaster recovery companies or insurance loss projects
