Your Job
The Underground Foreman will be responsible for leading all assigned tasks required to successfully install Commercial Underground projects. This includes but is not limited to conducting preliminary site walks to identify potential hazards, locating and piloting the directional drill head for placement of conduit, ensuring a clean and prepared jobsite and assisting other team members with equipment and installations. Our Underground Foreman contributes to the team by:
Performing the safe and efficient operation of drill locator equipment (including, but not limited to Directional Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer, Vacuum Truck/Trailer) to accurately install underground utilities, conduit, and other infrastructure components
Clearing job sites of debris, brush, or any obstacles, and planning and communicating construction path while adhering to Underground Service Announcement (USA) guidelines
Contacting the Site Superintendent, Project Manager or applicable Operations Team membe
Your Day
This is not your average 9am 5pm position. If you are someone who enjoys traveling and seeing new places this job is for you! Our Underground Foreman needs to have scheduling flexibility with an ability to travel to different jobsites. Monday through Friday travel is routinely required with the possibility of travel up to 1-2 months at a time of traveling nationally.

Your Experience
The core components needed to be successful in this role are (i.e. must haves):
4 + Years of safely leading installation of Commercial Underground projects, including directional drilling
Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying electrical hazards and proper safety procedures
Ability to read, understand, and execute construction plans
Complete understanding of the equipment layout, assembly, and manufacturers installation specifications and requirements
Understanding of and ability to install conduit systems up to and including 4 inches
OSHA 10
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
OSHA 30
Related education and/or training (Vocational or Trade related program)
Valid CDL License
