We’re looking for equipment teardown mechanics who can do all this and more. If you’re familiar with the work, can handle it with care, and take pride in your work, then this is the role for you!

Your Day

Equipment Teardown Mechanic responsibilities may include the following: 

  • Sorting, organizing, and lifting heavy equipment parts.
  • Preparing and shipping mechanical parts from various pieces of heavy equipment
  • Removal of parts from existing equipment.
  • Working outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather.
  • Operating heavy equipment like forklifts.
  • Lifting heavy parts, tools and materials on a regular basis.
  • Reading and understanding maintenance manuals.

You will need to have the following: 
  • Proven experience as a mechanic.
  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
  • An up-to-date forklift certification or the ability to get one in a timely manner
  • Ability to supply your own tools within 1 month of hire. (if required)
  • Ability to speak or understand English.
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • Ability to stand and walk, lift and/or move up to 70 to over 150 lbs.
  • Ability to pass random drug tests.
