If you're the kind of operator who can finesse a backhoe like it's an extension of your arm, you're who we’re looking for. We need Backhoe Operators with real-world experience handling light trenching, small-scale digs, and utility work with accuracy and control. These jobs aren’t about brute force - they’re about skill, timing, and staying steady under pressure. Projects are active in TALLAHASSEE and the surrounding areas, and we're lining up people who can show up, perform, and get rebooked.
Your Day
You’ll hit the ground running early - 5AM to 7AM starts, working 8 10 hour shifts. Job sites change, but the expectations don’t: full PPE, all-weather work, and a steady hand on the controls. You’ll be expected to dig clean trenches, move debris safely, and support crews with your machine. Communication with our office is key, so keep your phone on and your schedule open. The better your performance, the longer the ride.
Your Experience
We’re hiring those with at least 6 months of experience operating a backhoe, preferably in construction or underground utility work. If you’re confident around tight spaces, understand dig specs, and can hop off the machine to lend a hand when needed - we’re ready to get you out there.
