Your Day


Superintendent responsibilities may include the following:

  • Creating construction project schedules, goals, and deadlines
  • Creating the construction project budget and making sure the project stays on budget.
  • Making sure the construction project stays on schedule.
  • Supervising construction crews on the job site.
  • Creating and implementing safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Inspecting the construction site for safety and health violations.
  • Resolving construction project issues and concerns as they arise.

      You will need to have the following: :
      • Proven experience as a superintendent or a similar role.
      • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
      • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
      • Proficiency with design software programs like CAD and AutoCAD.
      • Good math skills, a sharp eye for detail, and an analytical mind.
      • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
      • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a similar field.
